How Much Does an African Hunt Cost?
An African hunting safari can be more affordable than many expect — it really depends on what you’d like to hunt, and how long you’d like to stay. Our daily rates include all meals, drinks, accommodation, and guided hunting — with no hidden fees.

– Accommodation, meals, laundry
– Soft drinks, local beer and wine, bottled water
– Guide, skinner, and field preparation of trophies
– Road transport in hunting areas and airport transfers

The Phumba Safari Experience
Hunting with Phumba is about more than just tracking game — it’s about stepping into the rhythm of the bushveld. Days begin early, with fresh coffee and open skies, and end around the fire with a meal and good conversation. In between: tracking kudu through thick bush, waiting on a waterhole, walking quietly with your guide, and feeling part of the land.

Location and accessibility
Phumba Safaris is located in Steenbokpan, the hunting mega of South Africa in Limpopo Province. With over 4000 hectares of owned hunting concession, including land that has been in the Steenkamp family for 3 generations, we offer some of the best hunting grounds in the country. Our location is easily accessible and only a 4-hour drive from OR Thambo airport.
