Hunting commences on the day of arrival and terminates on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged.Daily rates will be charged per nights spend.Deposit of 25% of total daily rate is required to confirm your booking for a plains game hunt.Deposit of 50% of total daily rate is required to confirm your booking for a big game hunt.
No refund of the deposit if the hunt is cancelled within 90 day's of contracted starting date unless safari can be re-booked. In all other instances the deposit will be adjusted to ruling S.A Rand/ Euro exchange rate on cancellation date. Same adjustment if any will be made to amounts paid on postponed safaris.Charges quoted are not guaranteed for a postponed safari. Rates and trophy fees are not guaranteed to be the same from year to year.

All trophy charges are applicable to animals actually bagged or wounded and lost.All payments must be cash or traveller's checks or certified bank draft. No personal or business cheques will be accepted.The total safari must be paid in full before client departs for the airport or country of origin.A government tax (VAT) of 14% must be charged on the daily fees only.All payments to be made in € (Euro), US$ or wire transfer. Personal cheques only accepted with prior arrangement. (With a 5% surcharge)

Liability

Any Safari activity is potentially hazardous and it is essential that all lawful direction and advice of the Safari operator will be followed. Phumba Safaris accepts no responsibility for death, injury or illness sustained or suffered by any persons loss, theft, or damage to property occurring during a visit (or visits) to areas or resorts under our control, whether allegedly due to the negligence of any of our staff or agents, or arising from the use of any facility supplied or made available by us.

We can assist you in your travel arrangements. We have contracts with major airlines for domestic and international flights and can offer you competitive prices. Best prices are available with early reservation.

Rates Include

- Accommodation, including full board.
- Liquor and beverages served in camp (Wine, Beer & Soft Drinks).
- Full-time service of an experienced & licensed Professional Hunter.
- Trained camp staff, trackers and skinners.
- Field preparation of trophies.
- All transport within the hunting areas.
- Transport from JHB International Airport to lodge and back.
- Hunting licenses and permits - excluding CITES.
- Laundry services.

Rates Exclude

- Air travel (charter/commercial), accommodation and travel charge incurred before and after the contracted period of the safari.
- Trophy fees of animals shot or wounded.
- Rifle hire (Firearms may be rented at $80.00 per day.)
- Ammunition is available at cost.
- Tips for staff, telephone calls and curio purchases.
- Disinfecting, packaging, handling, forwarding and insurance of trophies from the port of exit in South Africa to your Taxidermist.
- Conservation fee of 10 US$ on every animal hunted.
- VAT of 14% (Only payable on Daily Rates).
- Specialty food/medicine and cigarettes.
- National Park Fees.
- Taxidermist fees.
